Mount Marty men's and women's track and field teams are sending multiple athletes to Marion, Ind. to compete in the 2023 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend.

The Lancers have seven individual running performances, two multi-event athletes, one fielding event, and three relay teams competing at the Championships.
Donovan Breckenridge will be running in both the 200 and 400 dashes after improving his season times at the 2023 Concordia Twilight Meet on May 11th. He is sitting at 12th in the 400 with a time of 47.89 and 33rd in the 200 dash with a 21.42.
Calli Davis is currently ranked 10th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 56.06. Davis picked up her time on April 21st at the Jim Dutcher Memorial Classic in Crete, Neb.
Jonathan Fuselier ran his season best in the 110 hurdles at the 2023 Concordia Twilight Meet. He is ranked 25th in the event with a time of 14.70.
Ashinee George will be competing in the 100 high hurdles this weekend. George is coming in at 36 with a time of 14.67. She picked this time up at the GPAC Championships on May 5th.
Marcus Jnofinn is sitting 18th in the 100 dash with a time of 10.47. This time was accomplished at the 2023 Concordia Twilight Meet on May 11th.
Gracie Rippen is making her return to the NAIA Championships in the pole vault. Rippen cleared 3.55m at the 2023 Loper Twilight Meet on May 13th to be tied at 16th in the event.
Mason Schleis is ranked ninth in the Decathlon with 6,410 points. Schleis scored this at the Friends Invitational.
Nathan Simons will be running in the 400 meter dash. Simons is currently ranked 10th with a time of 47.62, and he ran this time at the Jim Dutcher Memorial Classic.
Seth Wiebelhaus is looking to grab his second outdoor All-American in the Decathlon after placing fifth in 2022. Wiebelhaus is sitting in seventh place with 6,541 points.
The women's 4x100 and 4x400 relays both ran their best time at the Mount Marty Twilight. The 4x100 is ranked 20th with a time of 47.49. This relay will be run by
Elianna Clark, Davis,
Alexis Even, and
Zelie Sorensen. The 4x400 has a time of 3:55.59, putting them in 23rd.
Tianna Bumbaca-Kuehl, Clark, Davis, and
Abrielle Nelson will complete the foursome for the relay.
The men's 4x100 is currently sitting 40th with a time of 41.56. This season best was ran at the Drake Relays. This relay will be completed by Breckenridge, Fuselier, Jnofinn, and
Deontae Howard.
