Mount Marty Track and Field Recap: 2025 Bulldog Early Bird Meet
The Mount Marty Track and Field teams delivered a strong showing at the 2025 Bulldog Early Bird Meet, securing multiple event victories, an NAIA automatic qualifying mark, and a new meet record. The competition was held on December 12-13, 2025, at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska.
Top Performers and Event Winners
The Lancers claimed several first-place finishes and achieved significant marks, primarily in the multi-events and field events.

Mya Zohner (Women's Pole Vault) secured first place, clearing a height of 3.65 meters (11-11.75) and hitting the NAIA 'A' Automatic Qualifying Standard. Also a school record.Â

Jonathan van Lien (Men's Heptathlon) took first place overall in the seven-event competition with a score of 4,743 points, also reaching the NAIA 'A' Automatic Qualifying Standard.

Logan Ferrari (Men's 3000 Meter Run) dominated the distance event, finishing first with a time of 8:31.50. This time set a new Meet Record (M) and school record.Â

Men's 4x400 Meter Relay 'A' Team placed first overall with a time of 3:22.09. The team consisted of Zavio Prato (JR), Carl Massa (SR), Samuel Favaretto (FR), and Bastien Furstoss (FR).
Women's Sprint & Distance Highlights
The women's sprint squad saw strong finishes in both the 60m and 200m events:

Zelie Sorensen (SR) finished 4th in the 60 Meter Dash finals (7.77) and 8th in the 200 Meter Dash (25.87). The 60 meter dash is a school record.Â

Alexis Even (SR) placed 5th in the 60 Meter Dash finals (7.81) and 7th in the 200 Meter Dash (25.81).

Brenna Lyngstad (FR) earned a 4th-place finish in the 1 Mile Run with a time of 6:02.65.

Men's Individual Results
