Mount Marty University Track & Field Athletes Qualify for NAIA National Championships
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA has officially announced the final rosters and entry lists for the 2025 U.S. Marines NAIA Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships. Several standout athletes from Mount Marty University have earned their spots in the national competition, set to take place at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center at Celebration Pointe in Gainesville, Fla., from February 27 to March 1.
Mount Marty will be well represented across multiple events, featuring both individual and relay team competitors. The athletes who have punched their tickets to nationals include:
Women's Qualifiers:

Alexis Even (JR) – Competing in the 200 Meter Dash, ranked 15th with a time of 25.08 seconds. She will also be a key runner in the 4x400 Meter Relay.

Ashinee George (SR) – Running in the 4x400 Meter Relay, which qualified 22nd overall with a time of 3:58.05.

Zelie Sorensen (JR) – Competing in the 4x400 Meter Relay team, contributing to their 22nd-place ranking.

Josey Wahlstrom (JR) – A leg of the 4x400 Meter Relay team.

Mya Zohner (SO) – Competing in the Pole Vault event, ranking 19th with a height of 3.60m.
Men's Qualifiers:

Logan Ferrari (SR) – Qualified for two events, ranking 17th in the 3000 Meter Run with a time of 8:32.37 and 13th in the 5000 Meter Run at 14:40.78.

Zavio Prato (SO) – Competing in the 400 Meter Dash, ranked 19th with a time of 48.77 seconds.

Luke Rettedal (SR) – A top competitor in the Shot Put, ranking 3rd nationally with a throw of 17.15m.
