Mount Marty Finishes 5th at Nebraska Wesleyan Invite, Kerkhofs Leads the Way
LINCOLN, Neb. – The Mount Marty University men's golf team delivered a competitive performance at the Doane Invitational, securing a 5th-place finish with a total team score of +28. The Lancers improved in the second round, posting a +11 after an opening +17.
Individual Performances:
- Wout Kerkhofs led Mount Marty with a +2 total, finishing T-7th overall after rounds of E (72) and +2 (74).
- Ted Bengston placed T-18th with a +7 total, improving in the second round with scores of +6 (78) and +1 (73).
- Jimmie Cunningham finished T-28th at +11, carding rounds of +6 (78) and +5 (77).
- Hunter Bailey ended T-34th at +13, shooting +5 (77) and +8 (80).
- Lane Tvedt rounded out the team scoring at T-36th with a +15, improving in round two with scores of +12 (84) and +3 (75).
