Hall of Fame
The 1999 Lancer Baseball Team, the last of Hall of Famer Coach Bob Tereshinski career, was considered by many to be one of the finest teams of the many great baseball teams for the Lancers. The only undefeated baseball team in the history of the SDIC was named the South Dakota Male College Sport Team of the Year by the South Dakota Sportswriters Association. The team ended with 8 players named All-Conference, 7 of the them on the 1st Team, and 5 players were also named Academic All-Americans. 1999 was the end of a four year run for baseball that included 3 SDIC Titles, 2 SDIC Tournament titles and 109 wins.
