Wenbourne was the first Lancer named 1st Team All-Conference in the Great Plains Athletic Conference three times, and was also named the GPAC Defensive Player of the Year each of those times, the first to ever accomplish this in GPAC basketball. Each of her four seasons with the Lancers were among the top 10 seasons in steals. When she graduated (2008), she was listed in the Lancer career charts in seven categories. The Lancers were rated in the nation all four years in her career, the first time that has been accomplished, including the highest rating at the time of #8 in the nation and also led the Lancers to the 2nd round at the NAIA National Tournament.
