Mount Marty University

A 2010 graduate and a four-year letter winner in baseball and basketball, Krier was named the Mount Marty College Athlete of the Year and Great Plains Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year his senior year. He led GPAC baseball, and was among the national leaders, in five statistical categories his senior season – a season that brought the Lancer’s their first outright GPAC championship, and a trip to the NAIA National Tournament. After pitching a perfect game, he became the first Lancer to be named the national NAIA Player of the Week. He received All-Conference mention all four years in baseball. Krier was the Mother Jerome Schmidt Award recipient, the most prestigious award the college bestows.
