Hall of Fame
Emily (Fletcher) Reilly, a standout student-athlete from the Class of 2001, left an exceptional legacy on the Mount Marty University women’s basketball program as a premier leader and highly productive guard. Competing for the Lancers during a highly competitive era, Reilly’s consistency and versatility on both ends of the floor made her a central figure in the program’s success and paved the way for her induction into the Hall of Fame.
During her senior campaign, Reilly elevated her game to new heights, serving as a team captain and ultimately earning recognition as the team's Most Valuable Player. Averaging 10.6 points per game, she led the Lancers offensively and played a vital role in guiding the team to an impressive second-place finish in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). Her elite playmaking and scoring prowess did not go unnoticed on the national stage, as she was named a NAIA Kodak All-America Basketball Team District 4 Finalist.
Reilly's sharp-shooting and efficiency were key hallmarks of her game during her final season. She ranked sixth in the GPAC in free throw percentage, proving to be a reliable and clutch performer at the charity stripe. She also established herself as one of the premier perimeter threats in the region, showcasing great accuracy and volume from behind the arc.
At the time of her graduation in 2001, Reilly’s name was firmly cemented all over the Lancer record books. She ranked 9th in career three-pointers made (48) and 8th in career three-pointers attempted (175). A dynamic distributor, she also departed holding the 10th spot on the all-time career assists list with 249. Her durability and commitment to the program were equally historic, as she graduated ranked 10th in school history with 114 career games played.
