Laddie E. Cimpl was co-founder of Cimpl packing in Yankton, a pillar of the Yankton business communit, and a dear friend to Mount Marty University. Laddie was awarded an honorary doctorate from Mount Marty in 1988. Cimpl Arena  was named in his honor in sincere appreciation of his years of dedicated service.
