Mount Marty University

Twice named the SDIC Defensive Player of the Year, this outstanding basketball player for the Lancers helped lead the Lancers to a NAIA National Tournament berth, where the Lancers finished in the Final 4, in 1998. During Krempges’s career (1995-1999) at Mount Marty, the Lancers won two conference titles and were rated in the national polls in each of his last three years. He was named the SDIC  A. O. Duer Award winner in 1998, presented to the conference’s outstanding junior basketball player based on basketball ability, scholastic achievement, and character. Ryan finished his career in the top 10 career charts in 4 categories.
