Earning 13 letters in her career (1973-1977) in five different sports shows the versatility of Jan Jager. She served as captain in three different sports and held records in track for the high jump and part of the 880 Relay. She was the leader of the volleyball team during one of the most successful periods in Lancer history, winning 112 matches and two conference titles as well as two state championships.
